About Us

Who We Are

YAR UWA Ghana Initiative (YGI) is a non-profit organization working to improve the health and well-being of women and girls through a comprehensive and coordinated health agenda. We focus on prevention, education, and service delivery, while also fostering the professional development of women in health and science fields.

We believe every woman and girl deserves access to quality health care, reliable information, and empowering support systems. Our approach combines public awareness, capacity-building, partnerships, and advocacy to address barriers to women’s health in Ghana.
